Subscription

One page that always tells you where your money stands with us — what you've paid, what's next, and how to change it.

Opened from Account settings → Subscription (and via the wellthplan://billing deep link Stripe returns to). Unsubscribed and expired accounts see the paywall (plan toggle, feature list, Stripe/Apple payment options) — unchanged. SubscribedBillingView.

The four states

A status pill, a one-line summary, and a three-step Billing timeline adapt to the state you're in:

  • Free trial (green pill) — "9 days left · first charge on Sep 14". Timeline: Trial started (filled dot) → Reminder (we remind you 3 days ahead) → First charge (date + real price).
  • Active (green pill) — "Renews on Oct 4". Timeline: Trial ended (or Subscription started if there was no trial) → Last charge (amount + the card it hit) → Next charge.
  • Payment failed (orange pill) — "We couldn't charge your card". Timeline: Charge attempted → We notified you → Final retry (Stripe's next retry date; Premium pauses if it fails). The plan switcher hides in this state — fixing the card comes first.
  • Canceling (gray pill) — "Premium stays on until Oct 4". Timeline: Cancellation received → Premium ends → Your data stays. The footer flips to a green Resume subscription action.

All dates and amounts are real — trial end, renewal, last charge, and card details come from the billing overview; prices come from the live plan config, never hard-coded copy.

Plan

Monthly and Annual rows with real pricing, a Current pill on your plan, and a "Save $" badge on Annual. Switch opens the Stripe portal directly in its plan-change flow (in-app browser sheet); the page refreshes when the sheet closes.

Edits

Every edit routes to the Stripe Customer Portal, deep-linked to the right screen:

  • Card row (brand + •••• last4 + expiry) → the portal's update-payment-method flow.
  • Invoices & receipts → the portal home, which lists every invoice.
  • Manage in Stripe · Secure portal → the portal home.
  • Cancel trial / Cancel subscription (footer, red) → the portal's cancel flow.
  • Resume subscription (footer, green, canceling state only) — a confirm alert, then an in-app resume; no portal needed.

Paying through Apple

Subscribed through Apple in-app purchase? Same badge, header, and timeline (Apple subscriptions record their charges too), but Apple owns the edits: no card row, plan switcher, or invoices — a single Manage in App Store row opens Apple's subscriptions page, and the cancel/resume footer routes there as well.

Restore purchases stays in the compact legal footer at the bottom.

Deleting your account

Account deletion (Security / Privacy → Delete Account) is gated on your subscription: with a live subscription — including a free trial — the Delete tap shows "Cancel your subscription first" and routes to this page (App Store for Apple billing). Once cancellation is requested you can delete right away, but the confirm dialog warns that any remaining paid time (paid through your period end) is forfeited the moment the account goes away.
