The Rundown
An immersive story for the week or month that just closed.
The Insights stack is the door, not the story. This page is the deck. UI title is The Weekly Rundown or The Monthly Rundown. PeriodReviewContent.
This walk is a live August monthly deck (template copy, not the __DEV__ fixtures). Weekly and monthly compose different slides — types we did not see are named in the matrix below.
Open
On Home, the card sits in the insight stack: Benjamin has your monthly rundown, tap to watch. The action label is Watch now. A push or a row in Insights history opens the same story.
Swipe or × on Home dismisses the card. That is not complete — the deck stays, and history can reopen it.
Chrome
Progress segments across the top, close × on the right. Tap the right ~65% to advance; the left goes back. Hold anywhere to pause, reel-style — the timer freezes and the chrome fades out until you let go (transient state, not screenshotted). Benjamin hosts a line at the bottom of every slide.
Guess slides hold until you pick. Reaching the last slide completes the review and retires the Home card.
Deck
This capture, in order.
Intro — The Monthly Rundown, the period, category tiles, and a few merchants (chrome shot above).
The big number — total spent against the prior period, plus a chart variant.
Guess — one topic is enough; see below.
Top category — biggest want, vs last period, then runners-up.
Top merchant — a receipt (or poster / calendar / trend) plus runners-up.
Cash flow — money in vs money out, and how much you kept.
Plan vs. reality — Needs, Wants, and Savings against the month’s plan. Monthly only.
The journey — balance path across the period. Monthly only.
Standouts — biggest purchase, busiest day, no-spend streak, merchant count. Monthly only.
Goals — leftover cash pointed at a Savings / Plan goal.

Guess
The deck pauses until you pick an amount. Wrong stays highlighted; the right option turns green. Benjamin comments, with Reset if you want another try. Auto-advance resumes after the reveal.
Outro
Recap card, Replay, and Benjamin’s closer. Landing here posts complete and retires the Home insight. Replay starts the deck again; history can still reopen it later.
